Iola school records set April 11^th, 2017

1600 (mile)  7th boys Trenton Varney set a school record in the 1600  m run.  with a time of 5:20.80 which beat the school record of 5:22.10 set in 2012 by Braden Plumlee.

Jack Adams set the school record in the 3200 m run with a time of 11:13.52 which beat the old school record of 11:44.60 set in 2016 by Calvin Delich

Iola Middle School invitational track records set April 11^th, 2017

7th girls 4 x 100 relay  - old record set in 2009 and 2013 by Chanute and Anderson county was 56.75.  New record set by Independence is 56.54

7th Girls 4 x 200 Relay - old record set in 2009 by Pittsburg was 2:03.53.  New record it by Independence  is 2:02.99

8th girls Hurdles -  old record set in 2015 by Craci Carr from Indy was 17.12.  New record is Abby Reid from Anderson County with a time of 16.91

8th girls high jump - old record set in 2002 by Iola's EmilyMiddleton was 4'11"  - new record is from Abby Reid from Anderson County with a 5'2" jump

8th boys 3200 m run (2 mile)  old record from C. Spencer from Altamont in 2007 with a time of 11:23 - New record is from Cormick Logue from Girard with a time of 10:53.42
