Educational History:
I graduated High School from Yates Center High School in 2006. I received my Bachelor’s degree in Social Work in 2009 from Kansas State University. I received my Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work from Washburn University in 2011. 

Degrees and Certifications:

  • Bachelors of Science in Social Work
  • Masters of Science in Clinical Social Work
  • Licensed Masters level Social Worker (LMSW) in the State of Kansas (2011-current)
  • I am certified in Basic Life Support (BLS)

Professional Development:

  • I was a trainer from 2011-2015 for  MANDT (de-escalation techniques).
  • I was a certified trainer for Mental Health First Aid for both youth and adults.

Current Position:
This is my fourth year at Iola Middle School working as a School Social Worker through ANW Special Education Interlocal. I also serve other students in other school districts in our area.

Family Information:
I am married to my wonderful husband, Justin of nine years. Together we have two children- Berkley (7) and Collins (4).   We also have two dogs- Sadie and Fancy.
